Kelly Margolis Dagger Speaks at Two CLE Programs
Ellis & Winters partner Kelly Margolis Dagger presented “Should We File a Motion to Suppress?” at the North Carolina Bar Association Criminal Justice CLE on Friday, February 12, 2021. Kelly discussed the practical considerations that may affect the viability of a motion to suppress evidence, and how to weigh the impact of a successful or unsuccessful suppression motion on the overall defense of the case.
Additionally, Kelly presented “Effective Use of Courtroom Technology in the EDNC” at the Eastern District of North Carolina Federal Bar Association CLE on Friday, February 19, 2021. In this presentation, Kelly focused on how trial lawyers can use technology in the courtroom to enhance the effectiveness of their evidentiary presentation and argument.
