On January 9, 2018, Ellis & Winters partner Stephen Feldman was installed as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Jewish Federation of Raleigh-Cary. The Federation’s mission is to mobilize human and financial resources to support and strengthen the local and regional Jewish community, as well as to meet the shared obligations of the local community to Israel and international Jewry.
Stephen is a founder of the Federation’s Cardozo Society, an affinity group of Jewish attorneys, judges, and law students in Wake County that strengthens relationships among legal professionals through educational, social and philanthropic activities.
Stephen concentrates his practice in complex litigation, antitrust, and appeals. He is a founding editor of What’s Fair?, a blog on the law of unfair trade practices. Stephen graduated from the University of Chicago Law School and served as a law clerk for the Honorable Pasco M. Bowman II on the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. In 2017, Stephen was the top vote recipient in Business North Carolina’s Legal Elite Antitrust category, appointing him to the Legal Elite “Hall of Fame.”
