Kelly Margolis Dagger Elected President-Elect of Eastern District of North Carolina Chapter of the Federal Bar Association

Kelly Margolis Dagger has been elected President-Elect of the Eastern District of North Carolina Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. She will serve a one-year term as President-Elect before assuming the role of President in the fall of 2018. She previously served as the Chapter’s Vice President.

About Kelly Margolis Dagger

Kelly Margolis Dagger focuses her practice on business litigation, employment litigation, and criminal defense. She has tried cases in North Carolina state and federal courts, and represented clients in a range of pre- and post-trial matters and on appeal to the North Carolina Court of Appeals, the North Carolina Supreme Court, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Her civil practice includes contract disputes, antitrust and unfair competition claims, trade secrets, restrictive covenants, and other departing employee litigation, and wrongful termination and related employment law claims. She also defends clients in federal criminal cases, and serves on the Criminal Justice Act panel for the Eastern District of North Carolina.

Founded in September 2011, the Eastern District of North Carolina Chapter serves one of the largest and most diverse geographic districts in the circuit through regular programming and events. Membership comprises 44 North Carolina counties from Raleigh to the Atlantic coast.
