Jeremy Falcone Presents at Defense Research Institute Annual Meeting

Ellis & Winters partner Jeremy Falcone recently presented at the Defense Research Institute’s (DRI) 2015 Annual Meeting, held in Washington, DC from October 7—11, 2015.

The recent diagnosis of American patients with Ebola demonstrated the potential for disaster for health care providers and hospitals in treating a pandemic. In a program entitled “Responding to a Catastrophic Pandemic,” Mr. Falcone discussed the response and potential liability of hospitals and health care providers in the wake of a catastrophic pandemic or outbreak.

Mr. Falcone is a partner in the litigation group at Ellis & Winters LLP. In his commercial litigation practice, Mr. Falcone focuses on business disputes, employment matters, and securities claims.  He also assists professionals to defend against malpractice suits and before licensing boards. Mr. Falcone has been named to North Carolina Super Lawyers magazine’s “Rising Stars” list since 2013.
