Jamie Weiss Moderates Panel at DRI Young Lawyers Seminar

On Wednesday, June 24, 2015, Jamie Weiss served as moderator for a panel at the DRI Young Lawyers Seminar in Nashville, Tennessee. The program, entitled How to Succeed as a Young Lawyer: The Answers You’ve Always Wanted to Have, focused on methods used to obtain valuable experience early in the careers of seasoned young lawyers. The interactive program was created as a guide to career advancement and other pertinent issues for young lawyers.

About Jamie Weiss

Jamie Weiss currently serves on the Steering Committees for DRI’s Young Lawyers and Commercial Litigation sections. Mr. Weiss focuses his litigation practice in the areas of higher education, complex business disputes, and departing employees. He has represented clients as diverse as Fortune 500 companies, private universities, a manufacturer of carbon fiber composites, and a developer of K—12 educational software. Mr. Weiss has been listed as a North Carolina Super Lawyers “Rising Star” in business litigation since 2013. He received his B.A. from the University of Virginia and his J.D. from the Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, where he was Order of the Coif and an Executive Articles Editor of the Washington University Law Review.
