Falcone and Weiss Reselected to Serve as Leadership on Defense Research Institute Young Lawyers Steering Committee

Ellis & Winters partners Jeremy Falcone and Jamie Weiss have been reselected to serve as leadership for the Defense Research Institute’s (DRI) Young Lawyers Steering Committee.
Jeremy Falcone will serve on the Corporate Counsel Subcommittee, which works to help members successfully meet the challenges unique to in-house practice. Mr. Falcone is a partner in the litigation group at Ellis & Winters LLP. In his commercial litigation practice, Mr. Falcone focuses on business disputes, employment matters, and securities claims. He also assists professionals to defend against malpractice suits and before licensing boards. Mr. Falcone has been named to North Carolina Super Lawyers magazine’s “Rising Stars” list since 2013.
Jamie Weiss will serve on the Future Committee Engagement Subcommittee, which helps young lawyers continue their involvement with DRI as they transition out of the Young Lawyers committee. Mr. Weiss is a partner in the litigation group at Ellis & Winters LLP. He focuses his practice in the areas of higher education, complex business disputes, and departing employees. Mr. Weiss has been listed as a North Carolina Super Lawyers magazine “Rising Star” in business litigation since 2013.
