Ellis & Winters is pleased to announce that Cameron Kirby and Chris Trusk have joined the firm’s Raleigh office as associates.

Cameron Kirby focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation and corporate disputes.  His practice includes defending against claims of breach of fiduciary duty, statutory appraisal of stock, breach of contract, and civil fraud and RICO claims.  Cam joined the firm after working for several years in the Delaware office of a boutique corporate law firm.  He previously has served as a law clerk to the Honorable Alan O. Forst for the Florida Fourth District Court of Appeal.  Cam also served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Cheryl V. Higgins for the Circuit Court of Albemarle County Virginia and the Supreme Court of North Carolina.

Cam earned his juris doctor from the University of Virginia Law School, where he was the Notes Editor of the Virginia Journal of International Law.  He attained his M.A. as a Rotary International Ambassadorial Scholar at Queen Mary, University of London and earned his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.

Chris Trusk’s practice focuses on commercial real estate and creditor’s rights.  He also represents clients in business transactions and corporate matters.  Chris joined Ellis & Winters after practicing for several years with a law firm in Greenville, South Carolina.

Chris earned his juris doctor, with honors, from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he served as articles editor for the South Carolina Law Review.  He earned his undergraduate degree from Clemson University.
