Ellis & Winters Receives High Honors from Chambers USA 2015

For the eleventh consecutive year, Chambers USA has accorded leading rankings in North Carolina to Ellis & Winters and eight of its lawyers. In the 2015 edition of Chambers USA, the firm is highly rated in each of its primary areas of practice: antitrust, bankruptcy/restructuring, litigation, and real estate.

Ellis & Winters, with nearly 35 lawyers, is one of the smallest law firms in North Carolina to receive such accolades from the independent research publisher Chambers and Partners, considered the most prestigious of law firm rating organizations.

A premier litigation boutique in the Southeast.”

The firm also received Chambers’ highest rating in the state in antitrust. The organization quotes sources as saying, “they are easy to contact and work very quickly.”

The firm’s bankruptcy practice was given high praise by the publication, stating that the firm is known as a “compact group that brings a range of specialist expertise from other areas to the bankruptcy arena.” Clients interviewed by the publication were quoted as saying the firm is “very responsive, thorough and good to work with. They were also [an] excellent value.”
