Carson’s inquisitive nature and love for problem-solving drew her to the legal profession. Prior to attending law school, Carson attended the University of South Carolina as a Capstone Scholar with a double-major in Economics and Spanish. Carson attended law school at Wake Forest University School of Law, where she served as an editor of the Wake Forest Journal of Business & Intellectual Property Law. In addition, she completed externships with the in-house legal department at HanesBrands, the North Carolina Court of Appeals, and at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Western District of North Carolina.
As a young student, Carson attended a Spanish immersion school, learning through a bilingual language education. She also travelled extensively abroad, as a student, to destinations including Bolivia, China, Hungary, and the Netherlands.
Carson has always been dedicated to helping others. In law school, Carson provided over 100 hours of pro bono legal services, was a member of the Pro Bono Honor Society, and served as Project Coordinator for the Immigration and Naturalization Pro Bono Project.
Carson practices a wide variety of commercial and tort litigation. Her practice area includes cases involving complex commercial litigation, products liability claims, insurance law, and contract disputes.
In her free time, Carson enjoys travel, yoga, and spending time outdoors with her dog.
